If your Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) Report states that your overseas education is equivalent to one of the degrees listed below, you can get additional points under the education factor.

List of professional degrees that is considered needed to practice a licensed profession

Please note that even if you receive an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) when you immigrate to Canada, you may still need to apply for assessment with the responsible regulatory authority if your occupation is regulated and you need a certification. Having an ECA does not guarantee that you will obtain your certification to practice.
